The clay is a German slightly grogged stoneware.
Looks great, thanks!

Re: Inge Nielsen
Well.
My studio is freezing and I have shut down operations for this year. Brussels is cold and grey and the sky here looks like the kyusu set below. I post another optical illusion (for Niva ) and with that, I wish you all happy holidays.

Re: Inge Nielsen
These two kyusu are truly delicate and elegant.
Thank you Inge for posting there beautiful pictures to keep in our minds for the upcoming holiday time.
I wish you a merry holiday with your family and a lot of tea to warm up your hands before the next kyusu throwing[*] session
[*] merci de comprendre kyusu throwing comme tournage de kyusu et non pas lançage de kyusu

Re: Inge Nielsen
Here are some photos of recent creations. Happy as always to hear your comments.
Pu'er storage/ presentation jars, 140ml
80ml teapots, in grey and brown grog clays
Two different iron glazes on porcelain cups. I am so happy to have finally found not only the right porcelain to fit the shrinkage of the glaze on the upper cup, but also to have found a firing schedule where it comes to its best potential.

Re: Inge Nielsen
Nice new creations Inge !
I use a small metallic box to store some of my shu pu er that I break from the cake, to make it easier the days I want to make a tea, instead of coming back to the cake each time. I break approx. 200g once from a cake.
I find most of teajars I see too small...
These teajars are nice, simple, but I would prefer bigger ones...
And as Kissaki says, these little teapots are an invitation to use them !
I wonder how this grey clay evolves in time...

Re: Inge Nielsen
Kissaki, Lionel
Thank you for your kind comments.
I can make grog tea caddies to any size up to 1200ml. Bigger than that, tricky to ship I think...
What size do you think is suitable for the situation you describe? I am thinking maybe 5-600ml...
Best regards
Inge

Yes, I think the box I use is this size...
If I remember my maths, the volume of my box is :
3.14 x (4 cm)2 x height 10cm = 500 ml...
